"Me? Tragic??"
The title quote is from P.J. Hogan's movie Peter Pan, not the actual story or script. But it fit so well with this post.
These poor actors... this poor show... oh, my. To quote Hook in Hogan's film (which is really said by Starkey in the novel): Oh evil day!

The lover of schadenfreude in me loves this. The director/actor in me is completely horrified and sickened.
Yes, a wonderful dual nature, just like the play itself! ;)
It's probably because I wasn't one of the actors performing in this production, but I saw nothing tragic in this at all--in fact, I laughed.
Seriously, it seems like the kind of thing that would be on AFV--I mean, when I saw "tragedy" I thought someone was going to get seriously injured, maybe even killed.
Please don't judge me harshly for my reaction--chalk it up to still being "gay and innocent and heartless".
