Five Past the Century Mark

I know I said I'd return next year... but I couldn't let this day (having not honored it before on this site) go by - especially since it is a 'special' date in that...

one hundred and five years ago today,
Peter Pan, or the Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up
took the stage. The famous adventure (as opposed to the "lesser known" Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens) of the eternal boy has not ceased since.

Bravo, Sir J. M. Barrie!

And thank you!

Yay, you've blogged it! :D Happy Anniversary to Peter Pan! ^_^ And bravo and thanks indeed to Uncle Jim for letting us in on the wonderful story!

I myself am listening to an audiobook of Peter Pan (yeah, okay, it's the book, not the play, but I haven't been able to see the play--wish I could.... :( --and I checked out the audiobook from the library), in honor of the occasion.

(By the way, it occurs to me that not every audiobook reader is as enthusiastic as the book deserves, or does the voices as well as it merits--I think I could do a better job.)
