COUNTer Intuitive?

Pack of napkins depicting Hogan's Pan

Is it just me...

...or is a
Peter Pan
themed
birthday party

quite
IRONIC?

  1. Yes. Yes it is.

Would I still have one if I could?

    Yes. Yes I would.

(I wouldn't have the napkins, though--I don't like inked birthday napkins.... They're only for show, not for use.)

  2. Hey, a birthday party is all about *you*
People give you presents, you eat all you want, and they have to do whatever you tell them.
If Peter Pan knew about birthday parties, he'd probably have one every day ^^

  4. I'm inclined to disagree given what they stand for... I'm thinking he would decree they be abolished.

  5. Or he could change their meaning and keep the presents, food, and doing whatever they tell them....

  6. How is that different from what he does already? ;)

And that "doing whatever is told" part of 'birthday' is not one with which I am familiar.

  7. Ok, you're probably going to blast Long Tom at me for this, but I just stumbled upon the video and thought it was appropriate ^^

  8. Cute. Very appropriate for this post, yes.

No need for Long Tom though I love that you referenced it!

  10. I'm pretty sure that wasn't 100% grammatically correct, you'll have to forgive me it's nearly midnight here.
